Yesterday I did my time reflecting about the lessons learned throughout 2008. I realized that, for the most part, 2008 was a magnificent year. For the first time in my life, I feel I've gotten to know myself a lot better. It's ironic because this is something you would say about someone that you've just met, or are getting to know. You would think that, at my age, I should already know myself pretty well. I guess I didn't. I tend to care more about the people and things that are close to me, but never really cared too much about the one person who was there when I first came to be and will be there when I do my final transition: myself.

I must say 2008 was that kind of a year, and what an amazing feeling it is to know yourself. I am actively pursuing my dreams, and have taken control of my life in a way that makes me happy. I know exactly what I want, what I don't want, and most importantly, I am happy.

2009, I hope, will be a year to pick up the fruits of the seeds I planted during 2008. It will also be a year to continue getting to know myself.

I am happy, I am at peace, I am satisfied.

I wish, for all of you, the same. Know yourself, love yourself, be at peace and be happy. This will innebitably transform into being satisfied with your life.
